Professional experience and search for meaning

Sharing
wisdom

Today lama (Buddhist teacher) in a Tibetan lineage, I teach the essence of mindfulness meditation with clarity and insight in a lay context. Besides, after several years studying Eastern philosophies, I teach Buddhist philosophy and phenomenology at the Buddha University.

In 2016, I started Ekwanim Management, a coaching and consulting firm that promotes contemplative leadership, wisdom at work and economic peace.

My Master thesis at INSEAD, titled ‘Contemplative leadership coaching’, passed with distinction, describes the heart of my coaching practice.

Since 2017, I teach at ESSEC Business School in Paris a course named ‘Conscious and Mindful Leadership’.

The Ekwanim
journey

One questioning highlighting two clear answers

By the end of my three-year retreat, a question arose: What will I do now, with all this theoretical knowledge and this experience of self and spiritual discovery? What can I humbly bring to the world?

Rediscovering a world full of woes, and whose wisdom seems every day more vanishing, the word “share”, “teach” and “support” appeared as obvious.

“Change the world staying at your place” say Eastern wisdoms. My obvious place is in the business world and with organizations. Coming back to this world I had quitted because it didn’t allow me to find accomplishment and finally faded all serenity was the second obvious answer.

A revolution and a genuine approach

Health, happiness, harmony and serenity are words rarely heard in the business and professional worlds that are only focused on competition, productivity and efficiency. Yet, a revolution is ongoing as it appears more and more manifest that one is efficient or productive only when well with themselves and serene.

Therefore, I started to create my own tools and methods coming from both millenary wisdom and philosophy and contemporary approaches of psychodynamics, sociodynamics, coaching and management named “contemplative leadership coaching” that is not only a genuinely new approach of coaching, but a quest for reconnection to our basic primordial wisdom, by uniting deep insight and altruistic goodness.
