Retreats
for leaders
and managers

Boredom and doing nothing–—seemingly non-productive activities–—can be invaluable in nurturing our creativity, even if they are a bit provocative for some people. Our lives, especially at work, have become defined by “busy-ness”.

Are you looking for a way to develop bonds of cooperation in your team? Do you wish to boost creativity in your executive committee or board? Take a break, extract yourself from stress and complexity, take time to rise up and gain clarity, reflect on yourself, your environment, your organization. It’s valuable.

Between 2 and 10 days, in complete immersion, we propose silent retreats for executives, managers and their teams, whatever their mindfulness level and whatever the size of your organization.

When we decided to live an experience of silent retreat for ten days, we chose to look for answers to a question we were asking ourselves about the future of our organization: how do we build the following strategic path for Haute-Savoie HABITAT? By searching deep inside ourselves the understanding on what to engage collectively. Eric has guided us on the path of silence and mindfulness meditation and enlightened us on what to do next.
Éric a su nous guider sur ce chemin du silence et de la méditation en pleine présence et nous a éclairés sur ce que nous nous devions d’engager.

Pleine présence
& emotional
intelligence

Mindfulness is a fundamental tool to learn and develop emotional intelligence, i.e. the capacity to live your emotions well, without repressing or dramatically express them.

Each workshop can be followed by an individual or group coaching, according to your needs.

We propose several workshop modules:

Mindful communication

A 2001 study (Nobscoot), on a panel of 20,000 American employees during their exit interviews, has shown, that the number one factor for leaving a job was bad communication skills of their management…

  • Level 1 – Deep listening workshop
Listening is an art! (1 day)
  • Level 2 – Mindful and empathic communication
Well expressing oneself, avoiding misunderstanding and associated conflictual emotions… (1 day)

Emotions at work

Discover the origin of emotions and cognitive and behavioral mechanisms that inhibit our ability to be completely mindfully present to what we live when we get kidnapped by our emotions. With concrete mindfulness and contemporary psychology exercises, you will gain a better understanding of your defense mechanisms and to disengage from conflictual repetitive schemes that generate ill-being and stress.

  • Level 1 – “Emotional well-being”
Emotions are good, it is our relations to them that generate suffering. (3 days)
  • Level 2 – “Emotional wisdom”
Discover the basic goodness and fundamental wisdom that resides behind each type of emotion. (3 days)

Corporate liberation
and self-liberation

What is corporate liberation?

Isaac Getz and Brian M. Carney theorized practices and concepts observed in many companies in their famous book: Freedom, Inc.: How Corporate Liberation Unleashes Employee Potential and Business Performance, published in 2012.

The philosophy of those organizations is to let employees take individual initiatives rather than impose them directives followed by controls. The basic assumption is based on an atmosphere of trust and recognition of collaborators in which their skills can fully blossom, if and only if, a total liberty is granted to them.

The classical hierarchy is replaced by a flat structure where collaborators manage themselves, with an accelerator effect on well-being at work. This kind of programs is very interesting for generations Y and Z.

Nevertheless, this democracy does not mean anarchy. Collectively defined to frame the organization functioning, those rules guarantee a free safe space for everyone.

Autonomy is at the heart of the managerial system. Employees are indeed free to organize themselves their working time, fix themselves their individual objectives…

Liberty and responsibility

No liberty exists without responsibility because a liberty consisting in only doing what we want would quickly face problems of interdependence and narcissistic asymmetries.

How can we combine individual liberty with collective engagement? Good managerial rules are not enough. One must grow the responsibility feeling of each one towards the collective, i.e. the feeling of empathy, altruism and ethics and it is only possible through a personal development approach for each collaborator.

A holistic coaching

We can accompany you in your corporate liberation approach, in particular in the definition of the meaning of this philosophy and by coaching your collaborators’ growth in responsibility.

It is a holistic approach of coaching as it includes a spiritual reflection on the meaning of liberty, a reflection on the individual’s place in the group and in the organization development of essential human skills (awareness, openness, care, altruism, etc.) to face this profound managerial paradigm change.

Coaching

Mind is not a boat to fill, rather a fire to kindle.

Plutarch

Executive
counseling

In a complex, interdependent and frenzy environment, take a time, free of judgments or power politics, to exchange and talk about your difficulties, submit your ideas, decrypt the information sent by your environment, by a reflection bracketing with a listening person who shows you new perspectives and challenges you.

Individual
coaching

A difficulty or a challenge to overcome, a new road to take, a learning or an attitude to integrate? Take the time to take care of yourself, to develop your wisdom. Enrich your experience by training your mind and your heart to open. You may even start discover who you really are…

Group
coaching

Trust is the key for cooperation. Learn to know each other, to listen to each other, to reflect together with goodness and franchise are keys for success. Group coach, despite not being well known, is very effective and makes you very quickly grow, at personal or collective levels.
